Overview

Eco friendly and self sustaining retreat that is one of only five houses on the Island. Roberton Island is a wildlife refuge in the Bay of Islands of the North Island of New Zealand.

Guests can enjoy a private beach with jetty access and the house enjoys its own helipad Island activities such as island walks, diving, kayaking, snorkeling and fishing are available. Outdoor heated spa pool also is available.

Set in the world-renowned Bay of Islands, with its secluded bays and an abundant marine life, Roberton Island has 5 privately owned houses within the 66 acres of the western end, surrounded by NZ native flora and fauna and located within a conservation area with its own private beach.

Guests can enjoy relaxing on one of many decks, and lush native bush walks around the island or across to the twin lagoons on the eastern end of the island. Roberton Island, also known as Motuarohia Island, in the Bay of Islands, is today a wildlife refuge.
